The ampules/vials are fed in-line or from a
tray (1). On the DAR the filled and sealed con-tainers pass through a wash cycle which allows thorough cleaning, using warm water (2), detergent, and a rinsing cycle with clear water (3). The water nozzles are designed and adjusted to keep the caps, seals and crimps dry. Drying of the cleaned ampules/vials is accomplished by a series of compressed air nozzles (4). An optional warm air blow off system (5) is also available. Starwheels trans-port the containers individually through the Seidenader DAR to the outfeed (6) for transfer to downstream machine or a tray.
The modular system allows a compact inter-face of the Seidenader DAR with inspection lines and leak detectors, labelling and ampule/ vial printing machines. In-line and stand alone (tray in/tray out) operation are possible. The special noise protection cover with wide opening doors allows low noise level in the operating environment.
After filling antibiotics, anti-cancer drugs and other toxic products, vitamin B 12, sugar con-taining solutions and oily liquids, it is very important that no product remains on the outer surface of the ampules/ vials to secure operator
